Add text to a PDF and fill out forms
Type anywhere on a PDF to fill in a form, add a note or correct a detail, then add check marks, the date and your signature.
Choose a PDFFree. No sign-up. Your file never leaves your device.
How it works
- Open your PDF.
- Choose Text and click where you want to type. Change the font, size and color in the toolbar. Use Date, Check and Cross for form fields.
- Drag anything to adjust its position, then click Download.
Changing text that's already there
PDFs don't store text the way a word processor does, so no tool can reliably rewrite it in place. The practical fix is to cover the old words with Whiteout and type the new ones on top with Text.
Whiteout only hides text visually. To remove sensitive information, use Redact.
Also in the toolbox
Pen, line, arrow, box, ellipse and highlighter for marking up documents, plus images for logos and stamps.
